Eiji is looking for his sister, which leads him to a huge castle. He accidentally falls into the pilot seat of an aircraft and ends up becoming one of the pilots of the Gravion, a gaint mecha, used to battle the aliens from space called the Zeravire.
Review
Gravion plays out as a typical giant robot anime, which is basically Gravion versus the Zeravire. The plot doesn't really go anywhere over the course of the 13 episodes. The action isn't anything special, and what makes it worse is that most of the attacks use repeated animation. It looks good but it brings down the excitement level when they use the same attacks each episode.
The characters aren't very original, but I still liked most of them. Aside from the cute girls that pilot the Gravion, there are a lot of female maids that fill the enormous castle. The female characters provide some fanservice throughout the show which mainly consists of panty shots and cleavage and I thought the character designs were very attractive.
Aside from repeated attack animations, the Gravion also has a transformation sequence (complete with theme song) where it brings all the pilots' vehicles together to become more powerful. The battles start off with the first set of attacks not working and has the characters forming a new plan to defeat the enemy for a majority of the fights. The animation looks about average TV quality and it can get a little choppy at times.
This show doesn't offer much story wise due to it's episodic nature and lack of substance. These 13 episodes don't finish the story and it ends on a small cliffhanger. Gravion isn't bad, but it comes accross very average and hard to recommend.

Average amount of profanity.

Mostly Gravion fighting other robots.
Sex
Pretty high in the fanservice department with lots of cleavage and panty shots and some undetailed nudity. There is a detailed image of a nude woman in the opening.
